Malibu Dreaming by Miriam

When the work week gets tough, having a refuge is imperative! Rustic and modern merge into a beachfront retreat filled with clean lines and comforting touches. When the breeze picks up and brings in all the cool air, the fireplace keeps things toasty. Guests can gather at the dining table made with reclaimed wood and an ocean view.

Canal Living by Miriam

Situated on the canals of Coronado Cays, off the San Diego coast, this extraordinary property offers sophistication living with a perfect blend between vanishing walls of glass that open onto the water's edge and warmth, set by coconut palm woods. The boat docks can accommodate two 60 ft yachts.

Fireplace Focal Point by Miriam

Massive stone-like columns with bronze capitals command the approach to the formal living room. An antique fireplace made from hand-carved marble with gilded bronze ornaments soars 190cm high while the steel fireplace fender with leather seat spans over 2.5 meters wide. Softening the majestic windows are silk draperies and the crystal chandelier is reflected in the 3.8 meter high architectural frame, designed by Ron Dayan.

European with a Contemporary Twist by Miriam

This dramatic transformation presented extremes where Ron incorporated classical elements into modern dressing, and finishing, often resulting in a totally new creative style. Proportions were also enlarged to suit the high ceilings and vast spaces. The outdoors areas also received proper upgrading when the ‘tropical garden' that adorned the front yard was replaced with aged olive trees, architectural urns and dramatic lighting.
