Creating a cozy atmosphere was the challenge in this Newport Beach home. Floor-to-ceiling silk curtains flanked the coral stone fireplace mantel and over-mantel, creating a harmonious balance with the massive columns in faux marble. French verdure landscape was commissioned to an artist who employed an ancient technique of painting on wet plaster. diagonally placed, plush furnishings in various but compatible styles form a cozy chat grouping.
