- Receive house plans and inspect property to correct plans per conditions at job site.
Enhance non-structural interior and exterior architecture.
Select furnishings throughout the house, with fabrics, leathers and other materials required.
Prepare a general furniture plan with layouts.
Design flooring patterns to conform with furniture layout.
Select floor-coverings.
Design bathrooms layouts and select materials like tile, marble, etc .
Design lighting layout to conform with furniture and flooring layouts.
Select plumbing fixtures and fittings.
Design built-in cabinets; except kitchen's where drawings are by manufacturer.
Advise on closet design; drawings are by manufacturer.
Design window treatments, select materials, hardware, motors, etc.
Select wall and ceiling decorative light fixtures.
Home theatre Design - platform for seating, acoustical treatment, widescreen, wall and ceiling decoration, specialty lighting, Audio/Video cabinet design.
Wine Cellar- design and select materials and finishes.
Outdoors- Design hardscaping; driveway, water features, sports court, etc.
Design layouts and select outdoor furniture.
Select planting material.
Design lighting for exterior areas.
Engage visual effect service for 3D images authorized by client.
Present designs and selections to the client.
Assist solving situations that develop during project relative to work by designer.
Estimate cost of items purchased by the design firm
Place orders with suppliers and follow-up, including visits to manufacturers.
Liaise between client and professionals engaged on the project.
Visit job site and share findings with the client.
Assist client with the purchase and placement of art and accessories.
Assist client with the purchase and placement of personal items like mattresses, bedding, kitchen appliances, etc.
